This took me a lot of time planning, shooting and editing. Fortunately, all of the character models and “sets” had been completed for my previous video. Even with all of the work, it was a lot of fun to make, and I still enjoy the finished product every time I see it.
I’m on ENN! And so is fellow Procrastinator, Silver. In today’s episode: I C U Wii. Although, if you blink, you might miss us. Check it out:
In case you missed it, here I am in all my flying glory, almost completely obscuring Silver in the process!
The photo of us (and the pictures and videos of others) was done as per request from ENN anchor and Loading Ready Run co-creator, Graham Stark. They wanted pictures of people playing the Wii, as taken from the perspective of the Wii itself. Specifically, they wanted images of people in silly poses. So Silver and I enlisted the help of our friend, Matthew Boyce, to snap a few photos. Click the page cut below, if you’d like to see more pictures from the shoot.
A short time ago, I heard on Xbox Live that Doritos was running a contest for a new game idea to be built and put up on XBLA. So, I entered the contest with the video in that little link above. The entry period is over, and now it gets to the initial judging phase of the contest. I won’t know if I’ll get into the Top 10 (the first prize-winning level) until late October, but I’ll keep you posted if I do.
I’m not sure when I’ll be able to post the video to YouTube (contest rules and such), but once I do, I’ll post it there as well. Plus, I have a “Gag Reel” that I’ll put up later, too.
As part of my obsession (as others here may attest to) with Loading Ready Run, I made a Sims 3 Machinima for their fan site Loading Ready Runners. It’s an alternate version of their “commodoreHUSTLE” opening credits, and it is officially the very first thing I have ever edited.
Well, it looks like we’ll finally get those AC-130 gunships we’ve been begging for. Plus, I can’t wait to see what other options are available. All I can say is that I’m totally psyched.
Hey all changing it up from the weird to the awesome. The original tapes of the moon landing have finally been recovered and are now up for all of us to see! Check it out on WIRED!
