OK ok ok. I have been meaning to do this one for a while but it was tough because comics change all the time. One day you will be into a certain comic and then all of the sudden they change writers or artists and the comic goes right down the crap shoot. So what I have done is basically picked out my favorite comcs during a certain point in there story. For instance rather than just saying X-Men I have selected a certain point in the X-Men story line as my favorite. So now that that is explained lets get to it… Read more…
I’m sure the others have plenty to say about this movie, so I’ll keep it short.
I really liked Batman Begins. This one blew it out of the water! I came out of the movie theater giddy; this movie is easily among my top 5 favorites. It doesn’t have what you’d call a “twist” ending, but when its over, you want to see it again real soon so you can pick up all the small details.
Go see it! Chances are you’ll want to see it more than once on the big screen.
Edit: I know this isn’t exactly a review, but I don’t know who was supposed to actually review the movie and I didn’t want to step on anybody’s toes. If and only if the reviewer(s) don’t share my enthusiasm for this movie will I go into more detail about why this movie is among my favorites. I hope that clarifies my vagueness.
Grade: A
Here is another awesome Top 5 List. This week I am making a list of my top 5 favorite stand-up comics. This is another one of those things that will change every now and then depending on what mental state I am in at the time. But I tried to do my best to make this one accurate. So lets go…

OK… Gotta say, or warn, that i am a huge fan of the Hellboy. I liked the first one a bunch. The look and feel of it was staggering to me. Awesome lighting and cinematography hooked me something fierce. The ending of it was a bit lame to me, but despite that i have watched it again and again finding new joy in each viewing. (Partly because of some of my favorite commentary tracks on a DVD EVer.) I was always a fan of the art and style of the comics as well. Its one of the few series i have made an effort to collect. Not a perfect effort, but so goes it, …and i digress heavily.
So that leads us to my views on the current HB. Read more…
In case you’ve missed it Joss Whedon has a new project. Dr. Horrible’s Sing-A-long Blog. It stars Neil Patrick Harris, and various other people that I don’t recognize (which doesn’t mean much since my knowledge of Stars is quite limited), wait … Nathan Fillion (Cptn. Malcolm Reynolds in Firefly), the rest are a mystery to me. Anyway if you’re still reading this instead of going to the site … why? It is quite good, low budget joy. Episode one went up on the 15. Episode 2 will be on the 17th, and part 3 is on the 19th.
Go! Watch! Enjoy!

This one is almost a week late and I’m sorry but it was tough figuring out what to write. I am no sports journalist, and I am pretty sure that will become evident as you read on. But I gave it a go any way. I am a pretty big boxing fan. I try to keep up with the sport as best I can, but the boxing landscape changes all the time. Fighters come and go. Only the truly great ones stick round. Here is my list of my all time favorite boxers. Read more…

OK… So it’s been a while since the release of Wanted. Been even longer since the previews came out of course, but that’s how far back i’m gonna reach with this review. Seems to me like the previews are often what makes the movie. I know that sounds weird, but think about it a bit. If you havn’t seen something yet, and didn’t know about it til ya saw a commercial for it, you are investing a lot in your opinion of that commercial. Where am i going with this? I’m not sure i completely know myself, but i suppose it’s to say, whatever your opinion of the commercials of this movie are, it’s probably worth checking out… at least if you like action movies.
Here is why… Read more…
Ok this top 5 was requested by Kuna. She said that if I didn’t do it she would hurt me…sooo I decided to do it because I don’t want to lose a thumb.
I really enjoy CG movies. Even if the majority of these films are geared for children I still like them. Maybe it’s because a CG movie takes so much time and effort to make the creators of these films have no choice but to make sure they do the best they can. Whatever the reason here are my favorites… Read more…
SOOO… When the previews for Iron Man started coming out, this past spring, I started to talk smack about how I was going to boycott the Iron Man movie. Why? Because in the Marvel comics he turned against his super hero brethren, and is partially responsible (in my mind anyway) for Captain America’s death. But as the movie got closer to release my stance on the matter weakened, and I went and saw it and was blown away by how good it was and blah blah blah… My sister on the other hand (she also reads the comics because I lend them to her) was not so easily swayed. She actually stuck to her guns and to this day refuses to forgive Iron Man for what he did in the comics and refuses to see the movie. This is a copy of her blog from Myspace on just that very subject. I think it’s pretty funny.
